20/20/20

This class consists of 20 minutes of cardio step aerobics, 20 minutes of weight training and 20 minutes of core (abs) training. This is a well rounded class for total body fitness. 

Body Cut

This class is designed for improving total body muscle tone and fitness. Class uses barbells, dumbbells, and resistance bands in a high repetition to low weight format set to music. Workout is low impact to the joints. If you want a full body toning workout this is the class for you. You will be tired at the end and your muscles may be sore the next day. 

Cardio, Weights, Abs & Legs

This class consists of one half hour of cycling, one half hour of Body Cut style exercises to strengthen and tone the major muscle groups of the body, and one half hour of core training and leg strengthening exercises, all designed to tone up your middle. The program is set to motivating music to get you going in the morning. You determine the intensity level. All levels of fitness welcome. Class is low to moderate impact. Class is broken up into three sections so you are welcome to attend any or all of the sections. 

Kettle Bell Training

This class uses kettle bells to specifically target and tone your muscles as well as give you a cardio workout. Kettle bells range from 5 to 20 pounds. If you want to tone your muscles and be sore the next day, kettle bells is for you.

Step Aerobics

Stepping is a cardio vascular workout. The workout is done on step benches that can be set to different heights to change the intensity level. Participants step up and down on the bend in a routine set to upbeat music. The workout is low to high impact depending on the height of your step bench. Open to all fitness levels. Participants determine the intensity of their moves. 

Zumba

This is a modern Latin-based cardio dance party. Steps are simple and easy to follow. Over time you will learn to embellish the basic moves for a great cardio workout. You will not realize you exercised the dancing is so much fun. Zumba works on a basic dance step foundation. You will learn meringue, salsa, cumbia, belly dance, flamenco, tango, reggeation, samba all set to inspiring musical beats.

Zumba Toning

This class combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-burning, strength-training dance fitness party. You will learn how to use light weights (1-3lbs) to tone all your target zones including your arms, abs, glutes, and thighs. Great for beginners to Zumba focusing on core Zumba steps with mostly low impact moves (or easily modified to low impact).

Pilates

Pilate and Yoga style exercises to strengthen the stomach, back and shoulder muscles (core) using mat (floor) techniques, all levels of fitness welcome. Class is low impact. 

Tae Kwon Do

This is a Korean martial art. Our black belt instructor guides and teaches you the moves of this great mental and physical self defense art. If you choose to your can go through training and promotion to higher belt levels. You can even train and test for your black belt at the gym. Note: belt testing fees are not included with your athletic club membership. 

Total Body Workout

No muscle is left untouched in the Total Body Workout class! This is a combination class of both cardio and resistance training. In any given class, there may be step, hi-lo, Latin, or country-line dancing, followed by exercise bands, dumbbells or fitness balls. All fitness levels are welcome as each movement can be adapted to your individual needs.
