ZUMBA is one of the many diverse classes we offer and it is included in your membership. It is a modern Latin-based cardio dance party. The steps are simple and easy to follow. Over time you will learn to embellish the basic moves for a great cardio workout. You will not even realize you exercised because dancing is so much fun. The word "Zumba" is a name used to refer to a fitness dance program that includes a combination of different dance types. You will learn meringue, salsa, cumbia, belly dance, flamenco, tango, reggaeton (a form of hip-hop), and samba all set to inspiring musical beats.
No matter what your dancing ability, we welcome you with open arms. If you come to a class and just cannot figure out a move, our instructors encourage you to feel free to ask for help after class. There are no rules, if your body feels like moving differently than the instructor, do it! As long as you're moving left, right, front, and back with everyone else, you're doing it right.
